Research topic

In a context of increasing competition, companies in all sectors must reduce their supply chain costs and develop their ability to face demand uncertainty. In most cases, these two goals cannot be reached simultaneously and this leads to an arbitrage. In Operations Research, this issue comes under the name of "supply chain network design". The objective of my PhD is to provide companies with a set of methodologies and tools to make strategic and tactical arbitrages between reducing costs and increasing the flexibility of the supply chain, with an incomplete knowledge of demand.

This PhD is a collaboration between Argon Consulting and the CERMICS (laboratory of Applied Mathematics of Ecole des Ponts ParisTech).
