Ecole des Ponts - Peking University joint workshop

Rheology of complex fluids: modeling and numerics

January 5 - 9th 2009

The purpose of this workshop is to bring together applied mathematicians and experts from mechanics working in the field of simulation and modeling of complex fluids, with an emphasis on stochastic modeling. Modeling questions (e.g. micro-macro versus macro),  numerical questions (discussion of appropriate discretization schemes) and theoretical questions (e.g. well posedness of various models) are expected to be addressed.
